As water is a matter and a matter is made up of particles ( atom ) of matter have space between them . When we pour salt in the water . then the particles of salt will settle
Between the gaps of particles of water as the thermal energy get converted into kinetic energy in a medium So, particles of water move at a speed . So, particles of salt want to became stable and for this they move to decrease there surface area and after some time the particles of sand will became visible
