Chapter 1: MATTER IN OUR SURROUNDING 4 APRIL QUESTION : WHY THE LEVEL OF WATER DOESNOT CHANGE EVEN AFTER DISSOLVING SALT IN IT ? ANSWER : when we disolve salt in water the particles of salt get into the spaces between the particle of water thats not change 5 APRIL PROPERTIES OF MATTE 1. The particles of the matter are verry small. 2. The particles of the matter are continously moving means theyhave kinetic energy.as the temperature rises,particles mave fast.So we can say that with increse in temperature the kinetic energy of the particles also increases. 3. The particles of matter have spaces between them.One type of matter get into the spaces between particles of the other.
